The Eugène Decomble vocational school has just opened a DPPR BTS and welcomes 11 students from a STI (Engineering Sciences and Techniques) Technological Baccalaureate or a vocational baccalaureate.
On this occasion, the Headmaster Claude Cousin invited 14 representatives of local companies for a moment of exchange :
- Presentation of the BTS DPPR option A (unitary production)
- Visit of the technical facilities
The engineering degree specialized in materials and mechanics as well as the vocational bachelor's degree in design and process in material forming already exist in Nogent. The only missing link was the this two-year post-baccalaureate diploma, to create, on the territory, a complete program from Baccalaureate to diploma in engineering.

Liaoning 518 and Forges de Courcelles signed a joint venture agreement giving rise to the company Dandong 518 Courcelles.
With this signature, Forges de Courcelles deploys its industrial and commercial strategy on the international market by locating itself, notably on the Chinese market, in order to accompany and respond to the demands of European car manufacturers and automotive suppliers operating in Asia.

Both the Nogent UTT engineers 3rd promotion and professional license 1st promotion end of studies ceremonies took place on Friday 21st October 2016.

The 5th Haute-Marne Industrial Expertise Meeting took place in Chaumont on the 17th and 18th June.
Over 60 exhibitors met on the occasion. There were industrials, associations, training providers as well as graphic designers given that this year’s theme was “Graphic designers in the Industry”. 3 lectures were hold.
The meeting has been inaugurated on the 17th June in attendance of Ms Françoise SOULIMAN (Haute-Marne Departmental Prefet), Mr Luc CHATEL (Haute-Marne First District Deputy), Ms Christine GUILLEMY (Mayor of Chaumont) and Ms Anne-Marie NEDELEC (Mayor of Nogent). They all highlighted the area companies’ dynamism regarding industrial professions promotion as well as the importance of the UTT local branch.
The meeting gathered a thousand attendees.
"Haute-Marne and its strenghts in education, industry and innovation" was the issue of the radio show aired on 20/05 on Autoroute Info (FM 107.7)
The Technology Pole project has been introduced by Anne-Marie NEDELEC (1st Vice President of the County Council, Mayor of Nogent and President of Symtec), Frédéric SANCHETTE (Director of the UTT Nogent) and Christophe JUPPIN (Pole Manager). Then the alternate training in materials provided in the UTT Nogent premises has been talked about through both the teacher and the student's perspectives.
Finally, some industrialists from the 3 main activity sectors of the territory (automotive, medical, aeronautics) intervened to evoke the industry and market reality as well as the assets of such a local training.
Philippe BOUJON, CEO of Forges Courcelles represented the automotive sector.
Mr. Jean-Marc JELTSCH, vice-president of the University of Strasbourg, who is in charge of partnerships with private firms, visits the Technological Centre in Nogent.
